Gino Marliani will join music-focused digital entertainment company Fuse Media, in the newly created position of chief people officer.

fuse exwecMarliani will focus on culture and talent for the company’s digital growth initiatives, aimed at the Latino and multicultural 18-34 audience.

“Gino and his elevated role fit well with the ongoing transformation of Fuse Media, which integrates a strategic shift in our approach to talent and culture,” said Fuse Media president and CEO Michael Schwimmer. “He brings great energy combined with a wealth of leadership experience and will play a key role in supporting our growth as a multiplatform media brand.”

Most recently, Marliani served as group vice president for strategy & operations for Discovery Studios, the centralised production, development and program distribution hub of Discovery Communications. Over his 15 years with the company, he held a series of people leadership roles in North America and abroad.
