Nickelodeon will premiere the original children’s TV movie Legends of the Hidden Temple, inspired by the 1990s game show, in Asia on 10 April.

Legends of the Hidden Temple stars Isabela Moner (Transformers 5), Colin Critchley and Jet Jurgensmeyer join original TV show host Kirk Fogg and voice of the talking stone head Olmec, Dee Bradley Baker.

The children’s movie will air on Nickelodeon in Asia on 10 April at 5pm in Thailand and Western Indonesia and 6pm in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore. A repeat will follow on 14 April.

Legends of the Hidden Temple will feature elements from the original game show including: Olmec, a talking stone head who greets anyone who dares to enter the temple; The Steps of Knowledge, the entrance to the temple and launching pad for the mission; and cameos from a green monkey, red jaguar, and silver snakes, among others.

Executive producers of Legends of the Hidden Temple are Scott McAboy and Michael Sammaciccia, while Amy Sydorick is producer. Directed by Joe Menendez (From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series), the film is written by Jonny Umansky & Zach Hyatt, and Alex Reid.
