Australian children’s entertainment company SLR Productions is celebrating its crystal jubilee, racking up in its first 15 years Emmy and other awards for its pre-school property and content.

SLR 13 Feb 2017Established in February 2002 by CEO and executive producer Suzanne Ryan, the company says it has shown a passion to make creative, adventurous, imaginative and exciting programmes for children and family audiences worldwide. It has been behind brands such as the Guess How Much I Love You – The Adventures of Little Nutbrown Hare, the animated twin detective series Lexi & Lottie: Trusty Twin Detectives, the animated adventure series The Skinner Boys – Guardians of the Lost Secrets, the award-winning adapted UK picture book Captain Flinn and The Pirate Dinosaurs, the drama series Sam Fox: Extreme Adventures, and the Emmy Award winning animated series I Got a Rocket.

In addition to Ryan, the SLR Productions team is made up of creative director Jo Boag, line producer Yasmin Jones, script producer Melanie Alexander and business affairs Helen Thwaites, along with what it boasts are ‘some of the industry’s finest’ directors, writers and artists.
