Spincast TV will collaborate with Yellow Spot Productions on a 3D animation series, Super Geek Heroes, aimed at children aged two to five years, and is also adding a style show, Design Tourist.

super geek heroesFor both shows, viewers will be able to purchase featured and advertised products with a click of the remote control. The providers say that this could revolutionise the way brands market to consumers while reaching a highly targeted engaged audience.

For Super Geek Heroes, each episode focuses on curricular areas such as health, literacy, numeracy and social-emotional development. Narrated by children, it encourages viewers to interact with the content as they watch.

“We’re excited to add Super Geek Heroes to our line-up,” said Mario Castellanos, CEO of Spincast. “It’s a fun, fascinating, children’s learning series I think parents and grandparents will enjoy watching too.”

The Design Tourist, with host Karen LeBlanc, takes viewers inside celebrity homes and explores the creative soul of a destination by interviewing local artists, artisans and designers, profiling unique architecture and other creative and cultural attractions unknown to mainstream travel in each travel episode.

“The Design Tourist media partnership with Spincast expands our growing audience of design and travel enthusiasts with original programmes that explore the links between culture and creativity and destinations with a design story to tell,” LeBlanc said. “Our programmes build connections with consumers through branded integration and story-telling, while interfacing with Spincast's addressable advertising technology.”

Castellanos added: “Our plan is to be the destination for all professionally produced original and established video content from around the world providing viewer choice with no green lighting, all from the click of an app. Our current partners and content owners have seen the future, and the future is Spincast TV.”
