Canada’s 9 Story Media has licensed more than 200 episodes of its animated children’s content to Disney services across the Asia Pacific region.

9 Story Media CampLakebottom on Disney Korea Disney South East Asia has acquired a trio of animated comedies, namely the first season of Haunted Tales (40 x 11’) and second seasons of Nerds and Monsters (20 x 30’) and Numb Chucks (26 x 22’).

The content creator and distributor has also struck a deal with Disney Korea for the second season of the award-winning preschool show Peg + Cat (50x11’) while Disney Japan has licensed the 13-episode third season of the animated comedy Camp Lakebottom.

Disney Australia & New Zealand has also picked up a trio of animated comedies with first seasons of Camp Lakebottom (26x22’), Nerds and Monsters (20x22’) and Numb Chucks (26x22’).

9 Story employs over 300 creative and production staff in its Toronto facility and has produced over 900 half hours of award-winning children’s content. In 2015, it acquired the award-winning animation studio Brown Bag Films, makers of Octonauts and Bing, which employs over 200 staff members across Dublin, Manchester and Los Angeles.
