Video-on-demand (VOD) service Filmin has extended its content agreement with All3Media to exclusively take UK series to Spain.

national treasureFollowing the premiere last year of Secret State and The Village, Filmin has inked a distribution deal for five new series.

Accused, starring Sean Bean and Robert Sheehan, will be the first production to be available on-demand, followed by the first season of Safe House (Christopher Eccleston and Paterson Joseph), both arriving on Filmin before the end of the month.

November will see the premiere in Spain of National Treasure, one of 2016’s hits in the UK. The Channel 4 miniseries, which aired a month ago, reached 4.5 million viewers. Filmin will also make Indian Summers available next month.

Close to the enemy, a thriller set during the second World War, will be the last British series to land on Filmin, with the premiere expected in late December.
