Launched by OmniAccess, a supplier of integrated communications solutions to super yachts and cruise-ships, and Panasonic Avionics, a provider of inflight entertainment and communications systems, the system is designed to offer capacity and video performance to its yachting and cruise ship markets.

Through the agreement, OmniAccess has secured access to Panasonic's existing HTS capacity, currently contracted capacity and the future XTS satellite network, to provide connection speeds of over 200Mbps to individual customers while at sea.
