Aiming to help pay-TV providers expand their services beyond the traditional set-top box, MobiTV has launched a new IP video delivery solution, the MobiTV Connect Platform.

mobitvThe platform is claimed to be able to allow cable operators to significantly upgrade their user experience and use connected TV devices and streaming boxes which are already in a large majority of US homes.

The MobiTV Connect Platform gives pay-TV and cable operators the option of selecting an in-network deployment or a MobiTV operator grade managed service. Both are based on a development process which allows continuous improvement, rapid response to market trends and evolution of technology.
