The platform is supported by several devices and gives access to VOD content as well as live programming from Fox1, Fox Family and Fox Cinema. Fox’s VOD library includes series such as Ash vs Evil Dead, Power, Black Sails, Tyrant, Flesh & Boney, Homeland and The Walking Dead. It also includes 500 Hollywood movies refreshed every month.

“In line with the changing content consumption habits, Fox Networks Group Latin America opens new windows to meet the audience, making its business model more flexible,” stated Federico Alamán, SVP and GM, Fox Networks Group, Mexico. “Launching this new platform is a natural step.”

“There is an increasing demand for VOD and premium content, which engage customers,” added Benjamín Ramírez, marketing director, Dish Mexico. “Including Fox+ into Dish OTT platform helps to consolidate Dish’s position in these new trends.”

The OTT service, which can be subscribed to for $7.50 a month through, was also selected by HBO to launch its standalone OTT platform HBO Go in Mexico.
