AMC Networks International Iberia has appointed Jose Nabais as its new chief technology officer (CTO) for Spain and Portugal, replacing Rodolfo García, who will continue in his previous role as CTO for Latin America.

jose nabaisNabais will be responsible for equipment and infrastructure of the 22 TV channels that AMC Networks airs in Spain and Portugal.

García will be taking on the role of country manager for Argentina, as well as CTO of AMC Networks International Latin America.

Nabais has over 20 years’ experience in IT and new technologies, having worked as CTO and CIO for Media Capital TVI, Grupo Prisa’s media company in Portugal.

He was also a senior consultant for leading technology companies including Ericsson Broadcast Services, Altran and Vodafone.
