Dori Media Group continues closing distribution deals for its latest telenovela Esperanza Mia around the world, with it now being aired in Panama and Ecuador.

esperanza miaThe full season of soap opera, co-produced by Dori and Pol-Ka Producciones, will be shown on Panama's TVN and Ecuador's Gama TV, with the launch scheduled for April.

Esperanza Mia has recently been sold to Mexico – where a local version will be produced by Azteca TV – Poland, Spain, Indonesia, Israel, Bolivia, Vietnam, Slovenia and Hungary.

In Spain, the series achieved was a hit for Atresmedia's Nova, which managed to increase its average audience figures by 50% during the soap opera’s telecast.

“Esperanza Mia is one of our most flexible and entertaining formats and we are delighted to extend our audience in Latin America following the sale of the format to TV Azteca Mexico in January. We are sure that audiences in both Ecuador and Panama will be hooked on the series, with its mix of comedy, intrigue and drama,” said Nadav Palti, CEO, Dori Media Group.
