Brazil’s Globosat has acquired Spotless, a one-hour dark drama.

The show stars César-Award winning Marc-André Grondin (C.R.A.Z.Y), Denis Ménochet (Inglourious Basterds), Miranda Raison (24: Live Another Day) and Brendan Coyle (Downton Abbey). Produced by TANDEM Productions, Spotless, a CANAL+ Création Original, is comprised of ten season one episodes and co-created by BAFTA Award-winner Ed McCardie (Shameless) and Academy Award-winner Corinne Marrinan.

“Our sale of Spotless to Globosat is a further example of how our rich and diverse content portfolio is able to travel far and wide,” said Katrina Neylon, EVP of sales and marketing, StudioCanal, who brokered the deal. “With a delicious mix of high drama that is very dark and intense, while at the same time charming, sexy and peppered with black humour, we are sure that Spotless will charm viewers throughout Brazil.”

The show will air on Globosat’s +Globosat Channel. Other recent sales announced include DIRECTV Latin America, SBS Australia and M-Net South Africa. Spotless wrapped its run in the US on NBCUniversal’s Esquire Network.
