In a significant statement as to how mobile video is rapidly becoming mainstream, leading video display processing firm Pixelworks is to demo how its technology can see use across a range of mobile devices at MWC 2016.

The Barcelona-based event is the de facto mobile industry showcase, and at the latest edition Pixelworks will aim to show how its technology improves the image quality for both moving and static content on all displays. It is confident that it can show how it provided consumers with a superior viewing experience and manufacturers with a significant opportunity to differentiate next generation products.

In addition, it will show how latest video quality solution, True Cut, can be implemented upstream at the distribution server to improve the quality of second screen video streaming to mobile devices.

Mobile World Congress is an ideal opportunity to demonstrate our newest industry-leading video quality enhancements for mobile devices,” said Graham Loveridge, senior vice president of strategic marketing and business development at Pixelworks. “Pixelworks’ solutions literally optimise every pixel, providing manufacturers with the unique ability to deliver a greatly enhanced user experience, regardless of the application, the screen size or the content being displayed.”
