Quales has integrated its quality control (QC) systems into Cubix, the latest product from Ortana Media Group, so that QC can be executed from any point of the production workflow.
Cubix is a standalone system in terms of client installation with available cloud control, allowing audiovisual content media management, processing and/or distribution.
"This integration demonstrates that once again Quales is not only an independent system for QC but also is easy to integrate in media asset management (MAM) and other control systems thanks to its carefully elaborated API," said a Quales' representative.
With its first agreement for a third party product, Spanish company Quales can deliver quality control to current Cubix clients and expand its possibilities thanks to this new market coverage.
The integration, which will also be presented at Amsterdam's IBC 2015, is linked to the software as a service (SaaS) operation business models which means Quales is the first real cloud quality control system accessible to all kinds and sizes of companies.
The platform developed by the Turkish Ortana Media Group is designed to be an end-to-end solution to multimedia environments, covering play-out, video-on-demand (VOD) and cloud operations.
