In what the live, interactive and on-demand media transport provider calls a new chapter in its life, Net Insight is to acquire US software company ScheduALL.

ScheduALL has been providing ERM solutions to media, broadcast and transmission businesses in more than 50 countries since 1989, and Net Insight, with whom it already has a long-time strategic partnership, says that it is a standard for resource management solutions in a rapidly changing industry.

Net Insight will acquire 100% of ScheduALL in a deal initially valued at $14 million and the result, says Net Insight Chief Executive Officer Fredrik Tumegård, will be a more innovative and competitive company, with a wider reach.

“The global media industry is changing rapidly. We are convinced that this new company structure will create a more attractive, cohesive and seamless offering, which will contribute to shaping the future of television,” Tumegård explained. “This means that we will be able to offer a more in-depth and unique know-how in media transport and workflows, as well as a broader and more integrated solution to service providers and media companies around the world.”

For his company’s part, ScheduALL COO and owner Ralph Quintero said: “We are operating in a fast moving industry. I am convinced that we can create added value to our customers with our combined expertise in transport and production workflows. We will continue to serve our customers and partners and accelerate the deployment of advanced solutions providing automated, assured orchestration for on-demand network services.”
