Spain's seventh FesTVal event will focus on national series, as production increases and international success grows, exhibiting the latest content from RTVE, Telefónica and Viacom, among others.

From tomorrow (1 September) the city of Vitoria will see all major content producers from Spain show their latest offers. Among the premieres this year are RTVE's eagerly awaited Carlos Rey Emperador, Telefónica's original docu-series Comicos, and Antena 3's Apaches.

La Sexta, ETB, Discovery Max, Viacom's MTV and Comedy, and AMC's Canal Cocina and Canal Panda will also be taking to the stage.

"We have no doubt that people will throw themselves into the FesTVal," said Vitoria's major Gorka Urtaran.

In addition to the many premieres, the festival will also award the best Spanish productions of the last year, such as Mediapro and Antena 3's Vis a Vis, awarded best find, or RTVE's El Ministerio del Tiempo (The Department of Time) as best fiction.

ProFesTVal is taking place alongside FesTVal, in an event which sees producers, writers, social TV experts and other executives from the audiovisual industry sharing their experiences within the business.
