Good news for all pay-TV providers who offer AMC Global's Fear the Walking Dead – the programme has now been found to have broken records in its launch phase.
Fear the Walking Dead debuted worldwide on 23 August and such is its popularity that it has racked up record-breaking audience numbers across Europe, Latin America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, making AMC Global a top ten network in key regional markets. Moreover in the US, the series premiere delivered 10.1 million live/same day viewers, becoming the number one series premiere in cable television history for total viewers and all key demographics.
The series also had strong social media results. Four days leading up to the premiere, the first three minutes of the pilot were released on Facebook, resulting in over six million views worldwide at the time of Sunday's premiere, with two million views alone in Latin America, 600,000 in the UK, and 300,000 in Spain.

Fear the Walking Dead, has already received a 15-episode order for the second season which will air on AMC Global in 2016.
