Recently launched Seminário Brasil VOD 2015 is to analyse video-on-demand future opportunities in Brazil and Latin America, targeting both distributors, producers and broadcasters.

The summit, whose first edition is to be held in Sao Palo June 23, will look through VOD monetisation and public regulation. According to Tela Viva , for which Converge Comunicações, organises the event, the Seminário is also to approach the coexistence of more traditional pay-TV business and VOD platforms in Brazil, where both the subscription option (SVOD) and the free one (FVOD) are increasing viewers.

In the Portuguese-speaking territory, on-demand platforms are already an important income generator for audio-visual producers and distributors, notably from original content and that produced by third parties.
While the programme remains still unveiled, the summit is already receiving subscriptions through its site . The event targets pay-TV operators, cinema and TV producers, broadcasters, audio-visual distributors, content aggregators, digital platforms and public authorities and regulators.
