Spanish streaming platform Wuaki.tv and Twentieth Century Fox have launched a Christmas offer to power up video-on-demand (VOD) consumption. Kicking off today (12 December), the over-the-top (OTT) platform will offer films from the American house at half price.

wuakilogoThe Engánchate a tu Video Club aims to increase engagement, offering 50% discount on the second Fox movie after purchasing any regular VOD content, an offer valid for use within the following seven days.

Among the available Fox films in Wuaki.tv's catalogue are X-Men, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, The Fault in Our Stars, How to Train your Dragon 2, Avatar, Life of Pi and Prometheus.

Wuaki.tv continues to increase and strengthen its presence in Spain, but after it was acquired by Rakuten in 2012, the VOD platform has been immersed in a expansion process through Europe, and is currently available in the UK, France and Germany, where it has started to offer 4K programming, and it will soon land in Italy and 11 more European countries.
