Presto Entertainment – the new Australian subscription based on-demand TV joint venture between Foxtel and Seven West Media – has unveiled a raft of dramas ready for launch.

Local TV dramas Wentworth, Satisfaction, Love My Way, Spirited, Tangle, Packed to the Rafters, All Saints, City Homicide, Home & Away, Winners & Losers and Always Greener will be available on the online platform. While Seven will also provide British titles Mr Selfridge, Lewis, A Touch of Frost and Rosemary and Thyme.

The forthcoming US crime drama Aquarius staring David Duchovny will become available shortly after launch of Foxtel and Seven's imminent television-based video streaming service.

Presto Entertainment, consisting of TV titles, will be offered as either a stand-alone online video service or can be bundled together with the existing Presto Movies service via Chromecast, selected Android tablets, iPads and computers.

"These titles are just a small taste of what both Foxtel and Seven bring to the table for Presto Entertainment. The addition of hit TV shows from our combined libraries of landmark entertainment will add dozens of brilliant programs to Presto Entertainment in the lead up to launch," said Shaun James, director of Presto and On Demand.

The new Presto service, expected to launch early in 2015, will face competition from rival online operations Stan and Netflix.
