Founded in Spain but targeting Spanish-speakers everywhere, the video-on-demand (VOD) platform Feelmakers will be presented at the Latin American cinema event Ventana Sur in Buenos Aires on 3 December.

feelmakersThe site, which aims to increase Spanish online content, is split into three channels: Feeldocs which covers documentaries, Feelshorts for short movies and Feeltoons showing animation.

Through HD streaming the platform also looks to deliver movies not shown on the commercial circuit despite having won awards. Feelmakers includes films from well known Spanish-language directors including Gracia Querejeta, Javier Rebollo, Daniel Sánchez Arévalo, Borja Cobeaga and Elías León Siminiani.

The VOD film service - which was created by production house Nephilim, distribution agency Freak and culture management agency Great Ways - has reached distribution agreements with Taskovsky, Java Films, Scorpion TV, Imagina and Marvin & Wayne. In addition, Feelmakers' team will be attending international events such as IDFA, Annecy, MIP DOC or MIP TV in order to select new formats for the site.

The platform, which is available for computers, tablets, smartphones and LG smart TVs, will be introduced to the Latin American market through Ventana Sur, but will also be shown at other events in the coming months to increase the site's visibility.
