The saga of the young Nina's vengeance upon her stepmother Carminha has won over yet another corner of the world, this time in the Middle East.

Globo's Brazil Avenue telenovela has premiered on Dubai One, a public channel in Dubai that shows a range of programmes in English, made up of films and series. The channel is also broadcast in Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Syria, Tunisia and 13 other countries in the region. This is the second Brazilian telenovela licensed for Dubai One. The first was Irrational Heart.

About 130 countries have already acquired the rights to show Globo's plot abroad. In Brazil, it achieved a general average of 42 rating points and 69% share, and its conclusion drew in more than 50 million viewers when it achieved the largest TV audience in Brazil in 2012, according to Ibope.

In Argentina, Telefe, which broadcasts the telenovela, organised a special celebration in the Luna Park gymnasium to show the last chapter. The event brought together six million fans and was attended by the protagonists Cauã Reymond, Débora Falabella, Alexandre Borges, Marcos Caruso and Vera Holtz. In Mexico, the premiere of the plot on Azteca's primetime slot, in February, increased the channel's ratings by 62%.
