Fight Sports, the recently launched 24/7 CSI Sports network, will air on Spain's pay-TV platform ONO following a multi-year carriage deal between the producer and the cable provider.

The launch on ONO is a continuation of Fight Sports' rapid global expansion as it has already secured multiple carriage deals with operators across Europe and the Asia Pacific region since December 2012, taking it into over 20 countries.

"There is increasing interest in watching fight-related sports in Spain and we are delighted to add Fight Sports to give our customers an even wider variety of sports viewing," explained ONO in a statement.

The fight channel will launch on ONO with major live championship events featuring the title rematch between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Marcos Maidana on 13 September in Las Vegas and heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko's mandatory defence against Kubrat Pulev.

The line-up will also include the exclusive live HBO World Championship Boxing series, World Championship Kickboxing, Mixed Martial Arts and multiple Martial Arts tournaments from around the world.

"We are proud to announce the launch of Fight Sports on ONO and look forward to providing passionate fans across Spain with the biggest and best fights supported by exclusive original programming 24/7, all at one destination," pointed Craig Miele, Co-CEO at CSI Sports.
