Telefónica has announced an agreement with SundaySky to use its SmartVideo technology to offer personalised video solutions for its business clients.
Through Telefónica Soluciones, the Spanish telco is moving forward into becoming a video company.
The SmartVideo technology enables videos to be designed for a viewer's needs, thus offering more targeted experiences. The stories are created live, once the user plays the video, allowing individual and personalised communication with the customer.
Telefónica is to offer SundaySky's technology to its financial, insurance and travel clients, as a part of its digital solutions portfolio aiming for customer loyalty.
The telco is the first provider in Spain to offer such a solution, allowing the brands to differentiate the audience by segment, personality, profile and behaviour, and offering the viewer a unique video experience.
"By tapping SundaySky, we continue to be a company banking on video and offering innovation and on-demand solutions," explained Vicente Noguerales, digital marketing director at Telefónica. "This allows our business clients to carry out personalised marketing strategies."
