PGS Entertainment has announced the sale of the new CGI-animated series Alvinnn!!! and the Chipmunks to Nickelodeon.
Produced by Bagdasarian Productions and Ouido! Productions, the series will debut on the network's international channels in early 2015 on more than 70 networks excluding those in North America and Brazil.
Created by Janice Karman, the series has been picked up for two seasons (104x11').
Featuring Alvin, Theodore, Simon and the Chipettes, the show will be a contemporary spin on the classic franchise and aims to win over a new generation of fans.
Each new episode will feature a new, original song produced by Bagdasarian.
PGS Entertainment represents the Alvinnn!!! and the Chipmunks TV series around the world, excluding the US and France.
The series has been commissioned by M6 in France.
