Sky Deutschland will screen all games of the UEFA Champions league live in Austria until 2018 following the German pay-TV broadcaster's renewal of the rights contract for three years.

The new agreement, the financial details of which have not been disclosed, starts with the 2015/16 season and – including the UEFA Super Cup – contains 146 matches per season, 128 of which will be broadcast exclusively. Subscribers will be able to watch the games individually or as a multi-match conference. Austrian public broadcaster ORF will show one Champions League game per week on free-to-air television from the 2015/2016 season.

In Germany, Sky Deutschland recently also secured the Champions League rights until 2018. Public broadcaster ZDF will continue to show one game per week on free-to-air television.
