Red Bull founder Dietrich Mateschitz is working on an English-language TV channel for the international market.

The channel, which will focus on documentaries, will launch in 2015, according to German industry magazine Kontakter.

For his media plans, Mateschitz can make use of the TV and video stock assembled by multimedia platform Red Bull TV and his German-language TV channel Servus TV.

Red Bull is already active in the international media market. The Austrian energy drink group's lifestyle magazine Red Bulletin is not only published and distributed in its home market, but also in Germany, Ireland, France, Kuwait, Mexico, the USA, the UK, New Zealand, Switzerland and South Africa.
