Swiss media company AZ Medien plans to launch a new TV channel, TV24, in Q2 2014.

The line-up will comprise original Swiss productions, documentaries, series and movies as well as local and national news covering politics, culture, the economy and sports.

According to AZ Medien, TV24 will benefit from the company's long-term experience in the areas of marketing, programmes, technology and distribution. With the launch of the new TV channel, the company, which already operates TV channels TeleZüri, Tele M1 and TeleBärn, wants to affirm its commitment to the commercial TV business.
