France Télévisions's pay-VOD service PluzzVad has grown sales over the past few months boosted by France 3's daily prime time series Plus Belle La Vie.

Episodes are available five days prior to their first TV run and have generated 500,000 sales since March 2012. The show accounts for 7 % of PluzzVad's revenues.

Launched in March 2012, the pay-VOD offer, which is soon to be enriched with new services and packages, will bring €4.6 million this year, up 47% compared to 2012.

Talking at a press conference in Paris on 25 November, France Télévisions' distribution CEO, Yann Chapellon, said he expects the service to bring in over €6 million in revenues in 2014.

PluzzVad allows viewers to rent or upload 2,000 movies and 4,000 TV programmes from all FTV's public channels either through iTunes (20% of the revenues), Orange and the SFR IPTV box (20% each ) or though the service's dedicated website.
