Following the announcement that Moonscoop France has been placed in administration, the producer and distributor of kids programming has clarified that its US affiliate Moonscoop LLC along with its VoD subsidiary
Kabillion LLC are not included within this reorganisation.

Moonscoop LLC, formerly known as Mike Young Productions, argues it is still "financially healthy, vibrant, productive and independent in its production and corporate operations, financing and rights ownership".

« Moonscoop France’s status in administration allows them the opportunity to reorganise their company and move forward with their business comment," said Moonscoop LLC’s Mike Young & Liz Young.

"Furthermore, while Moonscoop France has an equity interest in our companies, we are a completely separate group and are both operationally and financially sound. We are busy with a robust production slate as well as
several exciting new projects."

Moonscoop LLC properties include animated pre-school series Chloe’s Closet now in season two production and licensed in over 100 territories worldwide, Dive Olly Dive!, Hero:108, Growing Up Creepie, Pet Alien and Todd World. Its current new series production slate also includes Sabrina: Secrets of a Teenage Witch, a franchise from Archie Comics Publications as well as Lalaloopsy.

According to business information website, Moonscoop France, which has a studio in Angoulême, appointed an administrator on 20 June.
