Telemundo's popular Hispanic programme, Buenos Dias Nueva York, is getting a facelift with a new set and an extension of its run to two hours (5am-7am).

Telemundo is also adding a new co-anchor, Frederick Martinez, better known as 'El Pachá', not only to Buenos Dias Nueva York but also Acceso Total.

A veteran host, Martínez will combine his dynamic and colourful personality with Telemundo NY's decorated on-air talent such as Odalys Molina and Nathalia Ortíz (entertainment news), Allan Villafaña (specializing in breaking news) and Elliot Sáenz (traffic and weather).

El Pachá will also co-host Acceso Total with Molina, delivering the latest news in movies, music, and entertainment from Monday to Friday at 10am.

"With the changes we are implementing and the addition of El Pachá, our objective is to create a better option in morning television for the Hispanic audience," said Jose Morales, vice president of content at WNJU, the local New York Telemundo affiliate. "Viewers of Buenos Dias Nueva York and Acceso Total will not only be the first to know what's happening in their community, but will also know the causes and results first hand."
