SingTel will launch The Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia’s suite of children's entertainment channels including Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney XD on mio TV’s Family+ Pack, from 1 June 2013.

The channels will be available in dual languages (English and Mandarin). mio TV customers who don't subscribe to the Family+ pack will have complimentary access to the three Disney channels for a one-month period. The Disney Channels will also be available on catch-up via mio TV’s on-demand service.

“We are delighted to welcome the Disney channels to mio TV’s growing suite of content for all members of the family,” said Goh Seow Eng, managing director of television, SingTel. “Our young audience will be thrilled that their favourite channels are now available on mio TV, and we look forward to bringing many hours of fun and entertainment into their homes.”

“The unique appeal of the Disney channels combined with the strength of SingTel’s brand gives us a great opportunity to capture the hearts and minds of mio TV subscribers,” said Amit Malhotra, general manager, media distribution & sales, The Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia.

Disney shows include Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Doc McStuffins on Disney Junior, Phineas and Ferb, and Jessie on Disney Channel and Marvel superheroes like Spiderman and Iron Man on Disney XD.
