Spanish cable operator Telecable has today launched the children's channel Disney XD which is to replace the Cartoon Network on its platform.

The new channel will be available for all subscribers to the operator's TV packages.

Disney XD's content is aimed at young male viewers aged 6-14 and includes action, adventure, comedy, sports and video games. The channel aims to encourage children to develop self-confidence and achieve personal goals.
