Integra Telecom, a regional telco providing service to Prior Lake, Savage, Webster,Elko and New Market, Minn., is rollig out next-gen IPTV to its customer base. Innovative Systems has been chosen as the IPTV middleware vendor to bring advanced features like whole-home DVR.

"Integra is committed to providing first-class solutions to our customers, and we continue to look for products such as Innovative Systems' IPTV middleware that meet growing customer demands," said Mary Korthour, vice president and general manager of Integra Telecom in Prior Lake. "Integra needed a Middleware product with features such as whole-home DVR, on-screen Caller ID and remote DVR programming access that would keep Integra competitive now and in the future."
Integra says that it relied on peer benchmarking as a strategy in making its middleware vendor decision. Korthour commented that the feedback from other service providers using Innovative's APMAX Middleware was "consistently positive and the one common denominator was the ease of installation and deployment of the service."
Korthour said that customers being migrated over on an ongoing basis.
