Two innovative new digital news magazines are to be published monthly by Qatar-based satellite broadcaster Al Jazeera for Arabic speakers with Apple iPads.
Each edition will include the best content from Al Jazeera Arabic and Al Jazeera Documentary channels, as well as analytical features, interactive graphics and video footage.
"Today's announcement is an exciting and significant step forward for Al Jazeera as we fulfil our pledge of providing high-quality content across multiple platforms," said Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim Al-Thani, director general, Al Jazeera.
"Both the Al Jazeera Arabic and Al Jazeera Documentary magazines will include in-depth analysis and exclusive content for news and film enthusiasts. We look forward to continue providing in-depth and pioneering coverage as demand for Al Jazeera's content continues to grow."
