SPTI Networks Iberia will not arrive in Spain in September as the company had forecast some time ago.

The problem is that SPTI Networks Iberia and Digital+'s Prisa TV have not reached the agreement to establish the channel with the leading Spanish satellite pay-TV operator. The channel was to replace Prisa TV's children channel Animax.

Nevertheless AXN Black has been working well in Portugal where it was launched last May with cinema and TV series so completing AXN's offering. The new signal was to be launched last June in Spain. However some market sources assured the channel will surely come to Spain before the end of this year and within Digital+.
