LPF has received offers from Canal+, Orange and Al-Jazeera as part of the recent call for tenders regarding French League One TV rights. The French professional football league is currently examining the qualitative and financial offers for the next 2012-2016 period.

The new entrant into the French League One TV market is Qatari Al-Jazeera, which would be a further entry into French football by Qatari investors after their compatriots took a majority holding in Paris-Saint-Germain.

A few days ago, Al-Jazeera had already won, against Eurosport, the international TV rights to French L1.
