The Portuguese national public association for the audiovisual and the telecommunication sectors of Portugal, ANACOM, has allocated more than €10 million for DTT services to reach across the whole country.
The investment will serve to subsidize the most needed people living in faraway areas who have difficulties in getting television signals.
In order to further boost the proliferation of the networks across the country, it is thought that the DTT services will be accessible from STBs costing only around €22 per unit.
