Latin America is Mexican media mogul Carlos Slim's focus of investment with Brazil and Mexico about to receive some $6 billion while Colombia, Perú, Chile and Argentina to get $2 billion of their own.
  Slim's Telmex is present in 19 Latin American countries with Mexico and Brazil to get 74% of his investments, a large part for the development of audiovisual projects specially television.

According to the tycoon Latin America is placed in a "very positive situation on an international level since its interest rates are low and there are numerous alternatives of productive investments" he said.
