French-based international news channel euronews has opened a permanent office in Middle-East city of Doha.

Reporter Maha Barada has been appointed to cover all Middle-East countries.A former contributor to BBC News, which she has covered Israel-lebanese 2006 war for , she has previously worked in Beirut for channels  MBC, Al Arabiya and Al-Ikhbariya.

 

The channel has also announced the appointment of Grégoire Olivero de Rubiana, 38, as Director of External Relations.Previoulsy he was director of corporate communications for technology consulting and engineering Alten group

Grégoire Olivero de Rubiana will manage worldwide press, public and institutional relations as well as partnerships. He will be based in euronews’ Paris office.
