Co-edited by Ouat Entertainment and TV producer Marathon Média, the role playing game will allow players to create avatars to save the world while living a studient life at Los Angeles University. But what is atypical about this game is that it will aim at an older target than the series audience, which are girls between 8 and 12. On Facebook Totally Spies will target girls over 15.
Considered as an additional licensing activity, the game will be targeted at a larger community of fans. Development costs are evaluated at around €1m and will be financed by micro-payments and sales of items used to enrich and decorate the universe of the avatars.
Ouat and Marathon hope to get 300,000 active players per month by the end of this year and one million in 2011 after the launch in four languages.
