canal_golfSpanish media company Sogecable yesterday relaunched golf channel Canal+ Golf formerly called Golf+, broadcasting on its satellite pay-TV operator Digital+.

The new channel has changed not only its image but also its programming schedule with new programs and enhancing it coverage of women's golf. Golf+ was born seven years ago and it occupies a high rank on the platform’s list of channels. The channel covers international tournaments such as the American, European and Asian circuits, the four Grand Slams, the Ryder Cup, the Women's American and European circuits and the Evian Masters. All tournaments are offered in high definition.

"We have the best golf channel in the world because we count on the best golf worldwide TV rights," said the channel's management at a recent press conference.

Canal+ Golf replaces Golf+ and it offers a wider coverage of the tournaments and new magazines, including one teaching viewers how to play golf and another on the places in the world golf players best like to travel to - not only to play golf but also for tourism.
