Hard Time sold to RMC Découverte

ZDF Enterprises has concluded its biggest licensing deal to date with France's free-to-air DTT channel RMC Découverte for seasons one to three of the factual series Hard Time.

The programme tells fascinating tales of men and women locked away in some of America's most tightly guarded prisons.

The licensing of the 22 episodes is effective from September 2013.

"We've been aware of a constantly growing demand from DTT channels for long-running factual series. And we're very happy to satisfy these needs with Hard Time, a factual genre hit that unites quantity and quality," said Ralf Rueckauer, VP of ZDFE.
