Dailymotion secures broadcast rights to France vs. Germany friendly

Video portal Dailymotion has secured the broadcast rights to the friendly football match between France and Germany tonight.

The match will be transmitted live from the Stade de France in Paris, at 8pm (UK time). The game can be viewed free of charge to all fans watching via a connected device in the UK, Japan and the Netherlands.

"The friendly match between Les Bleus and Die Mannschaft is the latest of a series of football streams we have shown, from French league games to early Europa League qualifiers," says Marc Eychenne, head of international content at Dailymotion. "This is on top of the array of different sports we also feature, from the Vendée Globe to extreme sports, roller derbies to Rugby 7s and even Chess Boxing."

The game will be able to be streamed live from the Dailymotion platform or embedded free-of-charge on websites.
