beIN SPORT inks major US carriage deal

International sports-focused channel beIN SPORT has inked a TV carriage deal with Advanced Cable, a regional MSO serving the communities of Coral Springs and Weston in southeast Florida.

The operator will take both the English and Spanish versions of the channel.

beIN SPORT beams in European and South American leagues and tournaments, including Spain's La Liga, Italy's Serie A, France's Ligue 1, South American World Cup Qualifiers and Copa America 2015. The network also carries the US Men's National Soccer Team away games of the 2014 World Cup as well as international tennis, golf, volleyball, rugby, handball and more.

"beIN SPORT brings together all the games from some of the best leagues in the world onto a new TV destination with the highest quality production and talent," said Jim Pagano, general manager of Advanced Cable. "beIN SPORT extends our company's continuing commitment to providing our customers immensely popular, high-demand programming."

Advanced Cable offers beIN SPORT through its Digital Plus cable package on channel 160 in standard definition and channel 659 in high definition. beIN SPORT en Español, with its own distinct programming and on-air talent, is available through the Advanced en Español package on channel 421 in SD and channel 422 in HD.
