In an ongoing effort to expand out of its main European base, Netgem is developing a connected TV solution that it is tailored to the needs of IPTV operators in the Latin American market.
The solution is meant to offer an affordable way for pay-TV operators to get add multiscreen and on-demand services to their core linear propositions.
Netgem is partnering with ATEME, KIT digital and Broadpeak. The solution brings together a variety of necessary parts, including content processing and compression (ATEME), end-to-end video content management (KIT digital), multiscreen (Broadpeak), and optimising and enhancing the user experience across devices (Netgem).
"We have brought together some of the broadcast industry’s most respected names to combine their best of breed and fully complimentary technologies to meet the specific needs of the Latin American pay-TV market," said Yann Courqueux, CMO of Netgem.
