UAE telecommunications operator Etisalat has introduced Asian TV channel e-masala +2 for its eLife triple play and e-vision customers.
E-masala +2 allows viewers to catch up on the general entertainment content shown two hours earlier on its sister channel, e-masala.
The channel, which launched in 2004, caters for Hindi, Malayalam and Tamil speaking households in the UAE, providing a range of films, soaps, lifestyle and cookery shows.
"The introduction of e-masala +2 channel enriches our bouquet of TV services and will offer unmatched entertainment to our viewers, said Rashed Alabbar, vice president of home product marketing, Etisalat.
"It will give our customers added-value with the opportunity to catch-up with the original programme within two hours of its broadcast. This means that customers can conveniently go about their daily lives without the hassle to rush back or miss any of their favourite Hindi, Tamil or Malayalam movies or shows," added Alabbar.
