SNRT expands DTT network in Morocco

Moroccan national public broadcaster Société Nationale de Radiodiffusion et de Télévision (SNRT) has embarked upon a major expansion of its DTT network.

The new project is the latest phase of a digital network build-out for SNRT which is designd to enhance availability of the network as well as protect their services and existing investment. Redundancy will be provided on both a DVB-ASI service level as well as SDH-STM-1 trunk level.

The Net Insight network management system Nimbra Vision will be used to monitor and control the quality and availability of the network services.  Net Insight won the order in partnership with Ericsson Morocco. Ericsson will be the prime integrator of the project delivering project management, support and installation services.
