France Télévisions plugs into connected TV

In partnership with LG, French public group France Télévisions is to reveal the new digital services that will be available in the LG connected TV sets made by the Korean consumer electronics giant and which will be commercialised in 2011.

LG hybrid TV sets will use standard HbbTV. The new services will allow viewers to cast live votes during a programme from their remote control, to get enriched information about programmes, to share programmes on social networks.

FTV's interactive services will be showcased at consumer electronics trade show in Berlin.
