Zon subscriber base falls

Portugal's pay-TV operator Zon reached 1.576 million subscribers at the end of June, 0.9% less than at the same time last year.

 

A total of 412,000 subscribers access the operator's satellite service. The company's management highlighted the number of clients having triple play services (571,900), 49% of the total clients of Zon’s cable base.

The proportion of clients with digital services grew, with 740,000 subscribers equipped with the Zon Box receiver which makes it possible to access HDTV contents and other functionalities.
